Yes — this is a known friction point. The SSQ22’s narrow magwell and steep feed angle weren’t designed for the bulk and rearward center of gravity of drum mags like the 1100-round AEG-style units. Under rapid fire, the drum’s weight torques the magazine downward, breaking the nozzle seal and causing misfeeds or gas venting.
