Low-quality factory wiring creates resistance that slows current delivery to the motor. Replacing stock wire with 16 AWG or thicker silicone wire significantly improves electrical flow. Swapping standard connectors for low-resistance types (such as Deans- or T-style connectors) also reduces energy loss between the battery and motor.
Use a High-Discharge Battery
A battery with a higher C-rating delivers current more aggressively when the trigger is pulled. Switching to an 11.1V LiPo (where your gearbox can safely handle it) from a 7.4V will produce noticeably snappier trigger response.
