Answer:

Start at 90–110 PSI on your regulator. The AAP-01 and Glock valves are low-pressure designs; exceeding 130 PSI often causes valve float, double-feeding, or cracked nozzles. Chronograph after every 10 PSI adjustment. Expect 300–330 FPS with 0.20 g BBs at roughly 100 PSI, which aligns with most indoor CQB limits. Use a green-gas-compatible nozzle if you switch back to gas magazines; HPA nozzles have a different seal geometry and will leak on gas mags.

Do I need a specific M4 magazine?

Answer:

Any standard STANAG-pattern M4 AEG mid-cap or high-cap works. Drum magazines function but add weight forward of the grip, shifting balance. Ensure the magazine’s feed lips are intact—bent lips cause misfeeds that mimic adapter issues.
