HPA Adapter Feed Tube Fitment Issues

My HPA adapter's feed tube wobbles inside the magazine well, causing double-feeds and misfeeds. What causes this and how do I fix it without buying a whole new adapter?

A loose feed tube is usually caused by a worn or missing O-ring at the base of the tube where it seats into the adapter body.
