Using it indoors is generally considered safe under normal circumstances, provided the area is reasonably ventilated. Avoid filling magazines near open flames, pilot lights, or sparks, as propane is combustible. In well-ventilated spaces like a garage or basement with open windows, the risk is minimal during regular use.
