Yes, both the KWA MP7 and KMP9 can run HPA using a dedicated adapter that feeds from standard M4-style magazines. This is one of the most cost-effective HPA conversions available because it eliminates the need to buy proprietary HPA magazines or a drum mag. You keep your existing M4 mid-caps or high-caps and simply swap the gas magazine for the adapter unit.

The adapter replaces the factory gas magazine entirely. It features a CNC-machined aluminum body, a steel feed tube, and a reinforced magazine catch designed to withstand the rigors of high-rate-of-fire play. Because the MP7 and KMP9 have different magazine well dimensions and feed geometries, you must select the specific model for your gun; they are not cross-compatible.

Installation is tool-less and takes seconds: remove the gas mag, insert the HPA adapter until it clicks, and connect your line. The system uses a standard M4 magazine release on the adapter itself, so reloading feels identical to running an M4. Internally, the feed tube geometry is tuned for the high cyclic rates of KWA SMGs, preventing misfeeds even on full auto with 11.1v LiPos or high-dwell HPA settings.
